COVID 19 Roadmap Update

Hello All

We hope everyone has been staying well throughout these lockdowns

With the recent release of the Victorian Government COVID 19 Roadmap we are pleased to announce Oh’s Taekwondo will be aligning its operations with Phase C; Physical Recreation and Sport. At this time, these relaxed restrictions are expected to come into effect on the 5th November 2021.

In preparation for the easing, we will be asking households of juniors not yet eligible for vaccination due to their age, to demonstrate their child is protected by means of a fully vaccinated household. This is our best means to ensure a safe environment for all those wishing to continue to train at Oh’s. This will be required before the child is accepted to return to train.

Once the restrictions ease, we will require demonstration of proof of vaccination and check-in for all other students wishing to train and compete. This will be done using the “Service Victoria” app for either Android or the IPhone. The App can now be extended to add your proof of vaccination which can be shown to an instructor before entry.

The classes will be as follows;

Junior (ages 4-12) MON – FRI 5.45pm – 6.45pm
Senior (ages 13+) MON – FRI 7.00pm – 8.15pm

Importantly, we will be asking people leave a contact number for the club to call should your child be demonstrating any symptoms which were not obvious when they first entered. You will be required to collect them before the end of the lesson and they will immediately be taken outside.

Should any seniors be exhibiting symptoms, they too will be asked to leave immediately. Please do not come to class if you have any symptoms or don’t feel 100%. Many of our students are not yet eligible for their vaccination.

Previous health and safety controls in place will continue such as face masks and social distancing. Please keep areas outside the club free for people to enter and exit and please wait for the juniors to have all left before entering the Dojang.

We look forward to seeing everyone back and training soon.

Warm regards,

Oh’s Taekwondo Centre
